Each of our physicians are highly trained in their fields of expertise, be it medical dermatology, surgical dermatology, skin cancer detection and treatment, or cosmetic dermatology. We will be highlighting each individual physician in our upcoming blog series and today we’d like to introduce one of our senior physicians, Dr. Brittain Kulow.

Dr. Brittain Kulow is a Board-Certified Dermatologist and Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. Dr. Kulow has practiced dermatology along the Emerald Coast since 2003. Born and raised in central Ohio, she was a 4 year Glenna R Joyce Scholar of The Ohio State University where she graduated with Honors in Molecular Genetics. She attended The Boonshoft School of Medicine at Wright State University and graduated with Alpha Omega Alpha Honors. After a year internship at Kettering Memorial Hospital, she returned to Wright State University for a Dermatology Residency, serving as Chief Resident her final year.

Dr. Kulow enjoys treating patients of all ages and varying dermatologic problems. She routinely performs skin cancer excisions, but equally finds joy in helping patients figure out the cause of an annoying rash or better managing their chronic skin conditions. Dr. Kulow is well-versed in cosmetic dermatology and regularly employs laser and light-based skin rejuvenation, as well as injectable cosmetic procedures to help patients look and feel their best. Her aim is to maximize her patient’s own beauty. Dr. Kulow moved to the area in 2003 to be near family. She and her husband, also a physician and USAF Reservist, along with their 3 children live in Niceville, Florida. Dr. Kulow has been actively involved with The Junior League of the Emerald Coast, Impact 100 of Northwest Florida and is a supporter of The Mattie Kelly Arts Foundation. She enjoys traveling, outdoor activities, health & fitness, but of all these, her favorite is simply being Mom.
