The Practice Management
Chief Executive Officer
Jay Johnson has been the Chief Executive Officer of Coastal Skin Surgery and Dermatology since February 2013. With over 20 years of experience in health care management, Jay is responsible for the management and performance of all administrative and operational areas. Prior to joining Coastal Skin Surgery & Dermatology, Jay served as Chief Executive Officer of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Associates in Montgomery, Alabama. Jay is a graduate of Troy University with a BS in Business Administration and Management. He is a Past President of the Montgomery Chapter of the Medical Group Management Association and a current member of the Association of Dermatology Administrators and Managers.
Human Resource Administration and Compliance Officer
Carlene has been with Coastal Skin Surgery and Dermatology since August 2013. With over 20 years of experience in personnel, practice and revenue cycle management, Carlene is primarily responsible for human resource management and quality assurance. In addition, she serves Coastal Skin Surgery and Dermatology as the Compliance Officer for HIPAA, OSHA and Fraud, Waste and Abuse. Professionally, Carlene is a member of the Medical Group Management Association and the Emerald Coast Chapter of the Society of Human Resource Management.
