Meet Karoline Dempsey, PA-C | Coastal Skin Surgery & Dermatology

Meet Karoline Dempsey, MPAS, PA-C, a Board Certified Physician Assistant at Coastal Skin Surgery & Dermatology! A graduate of the Medical College of Georgia, Karoline continued her education and received her Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Nebraska Medical Center. Deciding to specialize in dermatology, she assists in a variety of Mohs Micrographic Surgeries, medical dermatological treatments and diagnoses.

As a Physician Assistant, Karoline is trained to perform skin examinations and to diagnose and manage patients with a variety of skin conditions as well as conduct procedures including cryotherapy, shave and punch biopsies, cosmetic dermatology and removal of superficial skin cancers and benign skin lesions.

Karoline enjoys spending time with her husband, Ted, and their four children, traveling, entertaining friends and live music. She is very active in supporting military families and spouses through volunteering and community outreach.

Every year, Emerald Coast Magazine brings the Best of the Emerald Coast to their readers. Over the Summer, votes are collected in over 200 categories to name area businesses the best of the best in their field of expertise.

Categories range from fine dining restaurants to healthcare and financial services to entertainment venues. Coastal Skin Surgery and Dermatology is thrilled to be named Best Dermatology Practice for the seventh year in a row.

Meritage Med Spa also received several acknowledgements this year in the categories of Best Med Spa and Best Spa Services. Congratulations to Jill Johnson for being recognized as Best Massage Therapist.

Coastal Skin Surgery & Dermatology of the Emerald Coast will open in Panama City Beach August 1st, 2016

Destin/Miramar Beach, FL, July 20, 2016– Coastal Skin Surgery and Dermatology is pleased to announce that they will open their fourth Emerald Coast office in Panama City Beach, Bay County on August 1, 2016.

Jessica L. Clark, M.D., FAAD, the 1st female dermatologist to serve Bay County, will be the primary physician at Coastal Skin Surgery & Dermatology located at 12139 Panama City Beach Parkway, Panama City Beach, Florida (850) 500-3376 [DERM].

Dr. Clark is board certified by the American Board of Dermatology and specializes in adult, pediatric, and cosmetic dermatology. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from The University of Texas at San Antonio with a Bachelor of Science degree in Community Health and received her medical degree with honors from Texas A&M Health Science Center in 2008. Dr. Clark completed her dermatology residency at Tulane University serving as the chief cosmetic dermatology resident. Before moving to the Emerald Coast, Dr. Clark was an Assistant Professor of Dermatology at Tulane University and she expanded and staffed the Pediatric Dermatology Clinic at the Children’s Hospital of New Orleans. She has also performed two years of advanced clinical dermatology research in psoriasis and other chronic dermatologic diseases. Dr. Clark is thrilled to join our community and hopes to bring excellent dermatology care to the Panama City Beach, Florida area.
